KMUW needs phone volunteers for its spring 2009 membership drive April 17-25. Phone assignments are usually two-to-three hours long between 5:45-10 a.m. and 3-6 p.m. on weekdays. Weekend hours vary. To sign up for a brief training session of an hour or less, call KMUW at 978-6789. The station's goal of $200,000 represents Wichita Public Radio's programming costs for the next six months.
