Shocks Talk is a platform created by Student Government Association for those who wish to seek a better understanding on topics concerning the local, national and global community. This platform will feature guest speakers working passionately to power ideas, change perspectives and progress the community. The first Shocks Talk at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 29) in 208 Hubbard Hall, will feature guest speaker Steve Dickie, men's basketball character development coach. His topic will be "Character Counts: Lessons for Leadership and Life." Refreshments will be served, and the first 100 guests will receive a free Shocks Talk notepad.
