* Engineers Without Borders (EWB) invites you to its fourth general meeting from 6-7 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 30) on the second floor of Devlin Hall. Learn how you can contribute to our upcoming projects in Uganda through EWB. You don't have to be an engineer to have an impact.
* Gamma Phi Beta sorority will host a 5k race on campus starting at 7 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 30). As a result, some campus roads will be closed or have limited access. The University Police Department will set up around 6:45 p.m. and close the roads at about 7 p.m. for approximately 30-40 minutes.
* Wichita State's School of Performing Arts will present "Two Rooms" by Lee Blessing at 7:30 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 30) and Saturday, Oct. 1, and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 1-2, in Welsbacher Theatre, Hughes Metropolitan Complex, Entrance F. A kick off for Wu's Big Event V will begin in the Marcus Welcome Center with check-in, speakers and information about the agencies being served. * Student Health Services will team up with the Advanced Education in General Dentistry and the Delta Dental of Kansas Foundation Dental Hygiene Clinic to provide free dental screenings for WSU students from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, in 207 RSC. No appointments necessary.
