Reminders, deadlines and events

* This week's Cultural Ambassador Program is "A Brief Overview of the History of India," from noon-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 28) in 142 RSC. Tarun Bali's presentation follows the evolution of India's political and cultural climate through the ancient, medieval and modern eras. Bring your lunch and travel the world without ever leaving WSU.

* Student Health Services will provide free STI testing from 1-4 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 28); Thursday, Oct. 20; and Wednesday, Nov. 16, in 209 Ahlberg Hall.

* Registration for intramurals sports session 02 is now open. Go to http://www.imleagues.com/wichita to register.

* Join WSU and the Wichita community on Friday, Sept. 30, for a night of art exploration and discovery. The night will kick off with a reception at 5:30 p.m. at Cadman Art Gallery, and then participants can take the Wichita City Bus downtown to enjoy the festivities there. Pre-registration for bus tickets is required by tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 27), and can be found on http://www.wichita.edu/sac. Tickets for the bus will be available for pick up after registration in 216 RSC during office hours.

* Be part of Wichita State's biggest service event from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1. A kick off for Wu's Big Event V will begin in the Marcus Welcome Center with check-in, speakers and information about the agencies being served. * Start-ups and businesses ready to scale will find the Business Booster Series this fall irresistible. The first workshop on Friday, Oct. 7, is "Business Pitching: Knowing the Essentials to Grab Attention." Register today before the seats fill up. The cost for students is $10. * Student Health Services will team up with the Advanced Education in General Dentistry and the Delta Dental of Kansas Foundation Dental Hygiene Clinic to provide free dental screenings for WSU students from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, in 207 RSC. No appointments necessary.

* Pumpkin pie lattes, truffle fries and pizza tacos are just a few of the many delicious options at the Food Truck Plaza. Grab breakfast on the way to class, have lunch with your friends or grab a snack during one of the afternoon breaks. The Food Truck Plaza is located across the street from the National Institute for Aviation Research.
