Hear the fascinating details behind the conservation of the iconic Personnages Oiseaux mural

The Ulrich Museum will host a Miro Lecture with Marianne Russell Marti, "A Nine Year Journey: Conservation and Treatment of Joan Miro's 'Personnages Oiseaux'," at 6:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 11) in the CAC Theater. A reception will precede the lecture at 5:30 p.m. in the Ulrich Museum of Art. Admission is free.

Join us for an up close look at the conservation journey of the mosaic, exploring the innovative and painstaking methods used to stabilize and clean every square inch of Wichita's great treasure. Russell-Marti has been in private conservation practice since 1988, as president of Russell-Marti Conservation Services Inc., located in Central Missouri.
