Dropped classes can impact financial aid

Did you know that a dropped or withdrawn class may impact a student's current and future financial aid? In some circumstances, students may have to return some of their financial aid when they drop a class. Withdrawn classes also impact future aid eligibility because they affect a student's completion rate and attempted credit hours for maintaining financial aid Satisfactory Academic Progress. Every student's case is different, so please encourage your students to visit with a financial aid advisor in 203 Jardine Hall or at 978-3430 to discuss the impact before dropping or withdrawing from a class.
