Paris-based theatre company to perform 'Huis Clos' by Sartre

La Compagnie Caravague will perform the classic one-act play "Huis Clos," by Sartre at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, in the CAC Theater. Admission is free. The performance is sponsored by the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures and WSU Foundation.
Trapped in Hades, the world below, as in Greek myth, Garcin (Andre Nerman), Estelle (Charlotte Baglan), and Ines (Raphaelle Cambray) seem eternally doomed to night-wandering. Such a maze or netherworld within, however, turns out to be a rite of passage for these characters in search of an improbable yet possible freedom.
