* Start Kicking the Butt and begin a tobacco free life. Learn healthy ways to prepare for quitting and strategies to help you be successful and gain support from other members who are in the process of quitting. The group meetings are from 11 a.m.-noon every Tuesday in 320 Grace Wilkie Hall. If you are interested in joining the group, contact the Counseling and Testing Center at 978-3440.

* Are you a Big with Big Brothers Big Sisters? You're invited to learn more about Bigs on Campus, a new student organization at WSU. There will be an informational session 11-11:30 a.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 25) in 313 RSC.

* Student Health will offer two flu shot clinics for students, faculty and staff this week. The first will be from noon-2 p.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 25) on the first floor, Grace Wilkie Hall. The second clinic will be from 1-3 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 26) in Garvey International Center. The shots are free for students, and $25 for faculty and staff.

* Join the WSU Concert Chorale and A Cappella Choir as they present their fall concert at 7:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 25) in Wiedemann Hall. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?5136 for more information and tickets. Admission is free for students with WSU ID.

* The Department of Sport Management is teaming up with the Kansas Children's Service League to promote awareness of the prevention of child abuse. From 5-7:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 25) in 208 Hubbard Hall, there will be a showing of the documentary "Happy Valley." The film covers the year following Pennsylvania State University assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky's arrest on child sex abuse charges. Admission is free.

* The university no longer honors green service zone permits. Green service zones are for vendors or physical plant vehicles who need temporary access to buildings. Any vehicle using a green service zone permit to park in a service zone will be cited for parking in a restricted zone.

* The Career Development Center and WSU Graduate School will present "Thinking About Grad School?" from 11:15 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, on the third floor, RSC. Students interested in going to grad school can attend a panel discussion from 11:15 a.m.-noon, followed by an information fair with WSU graduate departments from noon-1 p.m. Find out if grad school is right for you. * The Office of Adult Learning is hosting a come-and-go open house now to Friday, Oct. 28, at Grace Wilkie Annex. Come see their new location. Students will be eligible to enter for a chance to win a $100 gift card to the University Bookstore. Everyone who comes by will have the chance to win daily prizes.
