* WSU's Department of History will host its first Local Author Showcase from 5:45-8 p.m. today (Thursday, Oct. 27) in 233 RSC. The department invites faculty, students and alumni to this free book signing party to meet published faculty and students in the history department.
* The Career Development Center and WSU Graduate School will present "Thinking About Grad School?" from 11:15 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Thursday, Oct. 27) on the third floor, RSC. * Wear your Shocker gear and welcome 325 students and guests to campus for Junior Day tomorrow (Friday, Oct. 28).
* New password requirements went into effect for WSU yesterday (Wednesday, Oct. 26). All passwords are required to have one capital letter, one lowercase letter and one number. * EWB (Engineers Without Borders)-USA Wichita State chapter is seeking faculty mentors. Join us from 6-7 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, Oct. 28) on the second floor of Devlin Hall, to learn how you can contribute to our upcoming clean water projects in Uganda through EWB. We are seeking assistance and mentorship from faculty with fundraising, event-planning, marketing and campaigning expertise. We hope you will join us in building a better world.
