Trick or Treat for UNICEF
Trick or Treat for UNICEF was started more than 60 years ago by children to help other children around the world affected during World War II. Over the years, the campaign has evolved into an American tradition celebrating the efforts of children helping children.
On Halloween night, instead of trick-or-treating for candy, we ask that children ask for change donations to help change a child's life. With $5, you can provide children with 13 doses of measles vaccine. With $15, you can provide clean, safe water for one year. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.
Last year, UNICEF Campus Initiative at WSU partnered with other community organizations to help collect more than $1,000 in spare change for Trick or Treat for UNICEF. This year, we invite you to help us make a difference in the lives of less fortunate children all over the world.
