* UNICEF Campus Initiative at WSU invites you to Trick or Treat for UNICEF on Halloween. We will feature a photo booth from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Monday, Oct. 31) on the first floor, RSC. * Spooktacular, a College of Health Professions (CHP) tradition, will serve as the kick-off event for CHP week today (Monday, Oct. 31)-Friday, Nov. 4. The event will take place from noon-4 p.m. today (Monday, Oct. 31) on the second floor lobby, Ahlberg Hall. This event provides WSU students, faculty and guests an opportunity to come and enjoy food, our Haunted House attraction, Spooktacular booths, live lab experiments, Healthcare provider simulations, informative-based booths, costume contests, opportunities for prizes and much more.

* Celebrate Halloween by attending glow in the dark classes at the Heskett Center. Come to Yoga Flow or Cycle Fit from 12-12:45 p.m., Barbell Strength or PiYo from 5:30-6:15 p.m. and Zumba from 8-8:45 p.m. today (Monday, Oct. 31) and get a glow bracelet to light up the room while you work out.

* WSU faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the 2nd annual WSU Ventures Innovation Awards, a celebration and acknowledgement of individuals and programs that have adopted and advanced the Innovation University concept from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, in 142 Rhatigan Student Center. * WSU's Human Performance Lab will offer DXA scans at the discounted rate of $50 as a gift to all WSU staff and faculty during November. The regular price is $100, so you save $50. A dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) scan, also called a bone density scan, is a common technique used to measure bone density. This completely painless procedure is easily performed and exposes the patient to minimal radiation. The DXA machine also analyzes body fat percent and lean muscle mass. * Frank Rokosz, associate professor of Human Performance Studies, will offer a free adult CPR/AED Clinic to staff, faculty and students at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, in 134 Heskett Center. This is an informational clinic only. Learn how to perform CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), resolve a choking problem and perform an initial assessment of a person who may need first aid. * The Center for Entrepreneurship invites you to its Business Booster Series program, "Accounting Beyond the Numbers," from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, in Devlin Hall. Presenter Dan Schmidt will explain the true value of accounting -- identifying and measuring the relationships, assumptions and metrics that can help generate the road map to drive a business forward into sustainability and profitability.
