The holidays have come early! WSU's Human Performance Lab will offer DXA scans at the discounted rate of $50 as a gift to all WSU staff and faculty during November. The regular price is $100, so you save $50. A dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) scan, also called a bone density scan, is a common technique used to measure bone density. This completely painless procedure is easily performed and exposes the patient to minimal radiation. The DXA machine also analyzes body fat percent and lean muscle mass.
