Here's a Faculty Senate update from the Oct. 24 meeting.
- Received update regarding draft weapons policies presented to KBOR for Emporia, Fort Hays and K-State.
- Received update from Rules Committee regarding a pending recommendation to modify membership to the Faculty Senate to include all employees whose role is 50 percent or more teaching.
- Visited with Andy Schlapp and Troy Brunn regarding changes in the parking conditions on campus.
- Received update from Provost Vizzini on WATC merger and budget projections for FY18.
