WSU has a tremendous number of student leaders who help create our vibrant campus community. Each year eight students are selected as finalists for the annual Man and Woman of the Year Scholarship Competition. The process to select these candidates takes place during a period of two months and is open to juniors and seniors with a GPA of 3.0 and higher. This year we had more than 70 applicants with 26 moving on to an interview round, followed by a presentation. The judging panels were WSU faculty and staff who had the challenge of narrowing the many deserving applicants to four male and four female finalists.
