An icon of the WSU campus and the city of Wichita, the beloved Joan Miro mural "Personnages Oiseaux" (Bird People) has returned to the facade of the Ulrich Museum of Art.

Welcome Miro home and celebrate with us as the conservation and reinstallation of the mosaic mural comes to a close at a community celebration from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, in front of the Ulrich Museum. Admission is free.

A block-party -- with a bit of flair -- will include performances from the College of Fine Arts in dance and music, gypsy-jazz and swing by Nouveau Quintet, hands-on art provided by Arts Partners artists, complimentary refreshments and more. A mini food truck rally will be set-up at 17th Street for additional food and beverage purchases.
