Phil Ruffin named the 2016 recipient of the Kansas CCIM Chapter / WSU Center for Real Estate Lifetime Achievement Award
Ruffin's diverse business career has run the gamut from owning a dairy, a bank, and more than four million square feet of commercial real estate, which included shopping centers, office buildings and strip centers, to expansive holdings in the hotel and gaming industries.
Some of his current properties include 12 hotels in Kansas, Maryland, California, Oklahoma, Texas and Alabama, as well as a 16-acre island named Crystal Cay in Nassau, Bahamas, and 12,000 acres in Belize.
The award will be given at a luncheon hosted by the Kansas CCIM Chapter at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at the Marcus Welcome Center on the Wichita State campus. For reservations and more information, call the Realtors of South Central Kansas office at 316-263-3167.
