The Office of Human Resources will say good-bye to a longtime friend and co-worker. Joan Antes has announced her retirement effective Dec. 17. She began her career in Student Financial Planning and Assistance (now known as the Office of Financial Aid) on Nov. 20, 1989. She transferred to the Office of Human Resources on Feb. 10, 1998. Many across campus know Joan through her various roles: university timekeeping guru, CEEDS administrator, Substantial Interest contact, new employee on-boarding associate, ePAF approver for lecturers and U3 and U4 hires just to name a few. She has been an asset to our office and the university and we have all been fortunate to know her and work with her. If you get a chance, let her know how appreciative you have been of her service.
