WSU Center for Real Estate announces the recipient of the Layman L. Clark/Kansas CCIM Chapter Scholarship in Real Estate

Blake Heiman is the 2016-17 recipient of the Layman L. Clark / Kansas CCIM Chapter Scholarship in Real Estate.

Heiman is a senior majoring in marketing with an emphasis in real estate. He is a licensed real estate agent with Landmark Commercial Real Estate and works as a project administrator for TGC Development in Wichita.

The annual scholarship was established in 2011 by noted real estate developer and Wichita State alumnus Stephen L. Clark in honor of his father and to support WSU students with a demonstrated interest in a commercial real estate career.

The scholarship is awarded by WSU in consultation with the Kansas CCIM Chapter. As a part of the scholarship, the recipient is encouraged to participate in the numerous events hosted by the Kansas CCIM Chapter.

Several other real estate scholarships were awarded for the 2016-17 academic year as well, including:

- Nestor R. Weigand & Hobert C. Brady Scholarship – Ashley Porter
- J. Roscoe Williams Memorial Scholarship – Kari Wright
