WSU has a tremendous number of student leaders who help create our vibrant campus community. Each year, eight students are selected as finalists for the annual Man and Woman of the Year Scholarship Competition. The winners of the competition were announced at a closing banquet and awards ceremony on Friday, Nov. 4. Ashwin Govindarajan was selected as the 2016 Man of the Year. He is a senior from Wichita, pursing a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering and minors in biology and chemistry. Jenny Nguyen was selected as the 2016 Woman of the Year.
