Reminders

* The Asian/Pacific Islander Cultural Showcase scheduled for today (Tuesday, April 14) and the Multicultural Soccer Tournament on Saturday, April 18, have been canceled due to lack of participation, according to the Office of Multicultural Affairs.

* The Council of University Women will sell tickets for the scholarship bash from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, in Rhatigan Student Center. The event will be held 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, in the RSC ballroom. Only a limited number of lunch tickets will be available at the door.

* The deadline for applying to the 2009-2010 McNair Scholars Program is Monday, April 20. Qualified students interested in attending graduate school and eventually pursuing a doctoral degree can pick up an application through Friday, April 17, in 173B Grace Wilkie Annex, or call 978-3139 for more information.

* In celebration of its 60th anniversary, KMUW 89.1 presents Emmy Award-winning journalist and author Cokie Roberts in a public presentation at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, in Lowe Auditorium, Hughes Metropolitan Complex. * Professor John Learned of the University of Hawaii will present "The Age of Neutrino Physics: A Rapid Overview and New Instruments" in the Spring 2009 Physics Seminar and Colloquium Series at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, in 128 Jabara Hall.
