* Calling all students who attended a Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Seminar. We are having our first HOBY alumni event from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, in Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes. It is a come-and-go event and free to all students. Enjoy catching up with friends, network with other alumni and see what is happening with HOBY now.
* Kick start your college leadership skills and apply for the Engaging Leaders Program. The program offers students the exclusive opportunity to explore, discuss and analyze various professional fields directed by executive officials from different companies, corporations and industries throughout the Wichita area. * Homecoming week will be Jan. 30-Feb. 4. The nomination form is online and we'll accept submissions until Friday, Nov. 25. Names of all nominees will be displayed on an online ballot Nov. 28-Dec. 2. Students will be allowed to vote once a day on their myWSU account. The top 10 candidates, five women and five men, will be named Homecoming Royalty and will participate in events during Homecoming week. Questions can be sent to homecoming@wichita.edu.
