Reminders, deadlines and events
* The RSC and its departments will have varied hours during Thanksgiving weekend. The bookstore will be open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26. The building and all departments will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24, Friday, Nov. 25, and Sunday, Nov. 27. All departments will reopen with regular hours of operation on Monday, Nov. 28. * The WSU Red Cross Club will host a blood drive from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 28-29, in Shirley Beggs Ballroom, third floor, RSC. Donors can schedule their appointment by visiting http://www.redcrossblood.org and entering Sponsor Code: Wichita State. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged. * Human Resources, in conjunction with The Kansas Department of Labor's Division of Industrial Safety and Health, will offer workplace ergonomic assessments on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 14-15. Each assessment takes 15-20 minutes. Sign up by sending your name, title and department/office location to Sarah Hunter at sarah.hunter@wichita.edu. There are limited slots available, so sign up soon.
* WSU Ventures will host a National Council of Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer (NCET2) webinar from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, in the Devlin Hall Innovation Hub. The webinar will highlight the technical and scouting needs of NCET2's Corporate Selection Committee for its University Startups Conference and Demo Day. * Join Community Service Board (CSB) in building houses with Habitat for Humanity in Oklahoma City.
