The Shocker Honor Scholars Banquets were hosted on campus last week; based both on attendance and feedback from events, the events were a huge success. The top 10 percent of high school juniors were invited to celebrate their academic success and to become better acquainted with Wichita State. Program coordinator and SAS advisor Leslie Bounous planned these three banquets attended by 576 students and their guests. Many thanks to the WSU faculty, staff, alumni and students who served as table hosts and welcomed our guests to campus.
