* Faculty and staff are invited to attend a come and go reception for Mary Herrin, vice president for Administration and Finance, from 2-4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, in 208 Morrison Hall. Remarks by President John Bardo will be made at 2:30 p.m. Herrin will retire on Dec. 31, after 43 years of service to Wichita State.

* Human Resources, in conjunction with The Kansas Department of Labor's Division of Industrial Safety and Health, will offer workplace ergonomic assessments on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 14-15. Each assessment takes 15-20 minutes. Interested employees can sign up by sending their name, title and department/office location to Sarah Hunter at sarah.hunter@wichita.edu.
