* The WSU Red Cross Club will host a blood drive from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 28) and Tuesday, Nov. 29, in Shirley Beggs Ballroom, third floor, RSC. Donors can schedule their appointment by visiting http://www.redcrossblood.org and entering Sponsor Code: Wichita State. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged. * University Dining Services invites you to a Swipe Plus $10 Surf n Turf dinner from 5-8:30 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov 29) in Shocker Dining Hall. This is surf n turf taken to the next level. You pay the base meal rate, plus $10 to get the special menu. Swipe can mean Shocker Dollars or credit card/cash. For residential students on unlimited plans it's as easy as swiping for your meal and swiping again to take an additional $10 in flex dollars.

* Paul Singh, a venture capitalist from Silicon Valley who has founded/co-founded five companies during the past 10 years, will speak to WSU students interested in entrepreneurship as part of the North American Tech Tour from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov. 29) in the CAC Theater.

* Do you want to do something different with your weekend? Join Community Service Board (CSB) in building houses with Habitat for Humanity in Oklahoma City. Transportation is included and there is no cost for this service event from 5 a.m-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. Space is limited, so sign up as soon as possible. * Calling all students who attended a Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Seminar. We are having our first HOBY alumni event from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, in Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes. It is a come-and-go event and free to all students. Enjoy catching up with friends, network with other alumni and see what is happening with HOBY now.

* The Department of Psychology offers two undergraduate certificates that teach a variety of skills: 1) Certificate in Human Factors and 2) Certificate in Community Psychology. For details, go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?5227

* Provide a Christmas gift for a local family through the Salvation Army's Angel Tree and Star of Hope programs to help Wichita families have a Merry Christmas. If you are interested in sponsoring a family, stop by one of the two trees in the RSC in the University Bookstore and near the Information Desk, and choose your angel or star off the tree. Bring it to the front desk of the University Bookstore to sign up to sponsor that family. Gifts are returned to the bookstore once they are purchased.
