* After 37 years at Wichita State University, Gayle Veltman, coordinator of testing at the Counseling & Testing Center, is retiring at the end of the fall semester. Join us in celebrating her great work for the university at a reception in her honor from 3:30-5 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 30) in 265 RSC. Remarks will start at 4 p.m.

* Student Health Services will host a flu clinic from noon-2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 30). Student Health will give flu shots in Shocker Hall Building A. The flu shot is free for WSU students and $25 for faculty and staff.

* The Fall 2016 Physics Seminar Series concludes with a presentation by WSU professor Nickolas Solomey at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 30) in 128 Jabara Hall. Solomey will present "Exploring the Secrets of the Neutrino and Dark-Matter with a Space-probe."

* The last Fall 2016 Chemistry Colloquium of the semester will feature graduate student presentations at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 30) in 224 McKinley Hall.

* Human Resources, in conjunction with The Kansas Department of Labor's Division of Industrial Safety and Health, will offer workplace ergonomic assessments on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 14-15. Each assessment takes 15-20 minutes. We invite employees interested in the evaluation to sign up by sending their name, title and department/office location to Sarah Hunter at sarah.hunter@wichita.edu. Limited slots are available, so sign up today.
