* Need some extra money? A new research study on language is looking for participants. If
a) English is the only language you speak;
b) you do not play a musical instrument or sing; and
c) you have minimal or no musical training, you meet the requirements for this study.
If you meet the requirements above, want to earn $10 and are willing to spend an hour helping to forward research about language, contact kjiseminger@shockers@wichita.edu to set up a one-time appointment for the study.

* Airbus has two immediate openings for part-time student positions. The Morpheus Engagement Coordinator is open to students seeking an advanced degree in a STEM or humanities field. The Repair Support Engineer position is open to undergraduate engineering majors. Both positions require a 20-hour per week commitment. If interested, complete the online application on the NIAR website and email a resume to rlongwell@niar.wichita.edu. For more information, go to http://www.niar.wichita.edu/careers

* Shop the University Bookstore for the holidays and earn Wu Bucks toward more Shocker gear. For every $50 spent from now to Saturday, Dec. 24, earn a $5 coupon to be used in January and February on any in-store purchase. Some exclusions apply, see store for details.

* Provide a Christmas gift for a local family through the Salvation Army's Angel Tree and Star of Hope programs to help Wichita families have a Merry Christmas. If you are interested in sponsoring a family, stop by one of the two trees in the RSC in the University Bookstore and near the Information Desk, and choose your angel or star off the tree. Bring it to the front desk of the University Bookstore to sign up to sponsor that family. Gifts are returned to the bookstore once they are purchased.
