The Department of Human Performance Studies will hold its 13th Annual Chili Cook-off and Student Appreciation Day on Thursday, Dec. 8, in the Heskett Center lobby. Everyone is welcome to enter the event by bringing a crock-pot of their chili. Participants will be eligible for the Best Student Chili, Best Faculty/Staff Chili and People's Choice Awards. Those who just want to taste chili need only bring a canned food item (or $2) to be donated to the Kansas Food Bank. Judging starts at 11 a.m., and general tasting begins at 11:30 a.m. Door prizes will also be available for students.
