* The parking lots adjacent to the Marcus Welcome Center and Woodman Alumni Center will be closed today (Monday, Dec. 5) through Friday, Dec. 9, for resurfacing and striping.

* Faculty and staff are invited to attend a come and go reception for Mary Herrin, vice president for Administration and Finance, from 2-4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, in 208 Morrison Hall. Remarks by President John Bardo will be made at 2:30 p.m. Herrin will retire on Dec. 31, after 43 years of service to Wichita State.

They will learn about the admissions process, financial aid, scholarships, career options and programs designed for adult learners from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, in Marcus Welcome Center. * The Office of Human Resources has two collection boxes for Toys for Tots. We are happy to support the Wichita branch of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Toys for Tots accepts only new unwrapped toys. If you would like to donate a toy, we are open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The box will be picked up on Friday, Dec. 9.
