* New and experienced Banner Schedule Builders and Department Chairs are invited to attend the upcoming Summer / Fall Schedule Building Training sessions presented by the University Registrar's Office and Applications Training today (Tuesday, Dec. 6) and Wednesday, Dec. 7. Attendees learn to enter the course schedule and view information using Banner, Self Service and Reporting Services. Registration is required. Sessions are posted on myWSU myTraining. * Join us in celebrating Sue Werle's 51-year career at WSU from 2-4 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, Dec. 7) in 261 RSC. The Office of International Education will host an informal come-and-go reception for her before she retires on Friday, Dec. 16. There won't be any speeches -- just plenty of snacks, laughs and hugs.

* Learn how to improve your chances of obtaining internal grants from a panel of Faculty Support Committee members at a workshop hosted by the Office of Research from 3-4:30 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, Dec. 7) in 142 RSC. * The Department of Human Performance Studies will hold its 13th Annual Chili Cook-off and Student Appreciation Day on Thursday, Dec. 8, in the Heskett Center lobby. Everyone is welcome to enter the event by bringing a crock-pot of chili. Those who just want to taste chili need only bring a canned food item (or $2) to be donated to the Kansas Food Bank.
