Karen Budd, professor of clinical child psychology and director of clinical training at DePaul University, will be featured in a Psychology Department Colloquium at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, in 104 Jabara Hall. Her talk is titled "Evaluating Parenting Capacity in Child Protection: Systems and Clinical Applications." Budd's primary research interests center on at-risk parenting, including a focus on understanding parenting capability in cases of child abuse and neglect, and studying the effectiveness of parenting interventions for disruptive behavior.
