Reminders, deadlines and events
* WSU students are invited to a pregame BBQ Party with Rib Crib and Channel 96.3 at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec. 6) at the east entrance to Charles Koch Arena before the Shockers take on Saint Louis. There will be tons of prize giveaways, including behind-the-bench tickets to an upcoming men's basketball game.
* If you've ever glanced up at the sky and wondered what's out there, if you'd like to stargaze and learn how to pick out constellations or if you're just looking for a new student group to join and have fun with, come to Club Nova's informational meeting between 4-5 p.m. today (Monday, Dec. 5) in 256 RSC.
* Blow off some steam as your prepare for finals at the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes. Finals Frenzy Dollar Mania runs today (Monday, Dec. 5) to Friday, Dec. 9. Enjoy $1 bowling games, $1 hourly pool table rentals and $1 any size fountain drinks all week.
* Come with your questions and get assistance completing an IP disclosure form for your ideas, technology, curriculum, research and more from 2-4 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec. 6) in the Innovation Hub, 215 Devlin Hall. This is an open lab and no registration is required.
* Student Health Services will close soon for winter break. Prescription refill requests must be submitted before 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, and picked up by 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19. If you need healthcare assistance during the break and are unsure where to go, visit our website at http://www.wichita.edu/shs and click on the link "Medication Emergencies / After Hours Medical Care."
* The Campus Post Office invites you to send a letter from Santa. Each letter costs $1.25, and it includes a special envelope with postage. The letter will be sent to Santa Claus, Indiana, for a special pictorial postmark and then sent to the address on the envelope. The last day to purchase the letters is Wednesday, Dec. 14. * Springfest is a kick-off for the spring semester for both student organizations and university departments. Space is limited for RSOs and campus departments, so register your organization now.
