Local children with disabilities get help from Wichita State University students
Brody has a form of dwarfism that limits his reach. His feet are not ready for weight bearing yet, and he wears a neck brace to protect his cervical vertebrae.
Jairo has Caudal Regression Syndrome. He is missing parts of his lower spine and pelvis and is unable to move his lower body and legs. He is incredibly strong and is efficient using his arms to get around.
Through the students' efforts, all three children now have the chance to be more mobile than ever before.
