Exercise Science Sports Camp for athletes in grades 6-12

The Human Performance Lab is having an Exercise Science Sports Camp for athletes in grades 6-12 who want to know and understand the physiology within the body during exercise and performance. The camp will be informative, interactive and innovative. It will be held Monday, Dec. 19-Thursday, Dec. 22 in the Human Performance Lab in the Heskett Center. The camp has only 20 slots and will be held in two sessions (10 athletes per session). Session one is from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. and session two is from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The fee is $60. To sign up, email Human Performance lab manager Bobby Berry at bobby.berry@wichita.edu. Include the name and age of the athlete in the email. Waivers will be filled out on the first day of camp.
