Reminders, deadlines and events
* Textbook Buyback is going on now at the University Bookstore. Bring in your gently used textbooks now to Saturday, Dec. 17, during normal hours of operation to receive cash for your books. Rental books are due back by Tuesday, Dec. 20, with a late fee charged after that date. A valid Shocker ID is required for all buyback transactions.
* Sigma Tau Delta: Alpha Theta Omicron chapter invites you to their fundraiser from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Barnes & Noble Superstore in Bradley Fair on Rock Road. During the fundraiser, 10 percent of the proceeds on sales of all areas will help fund activities for the society and other charitable projects, such as buying children's books for Child Start.
* The WSU women's basketball team will host the Shocker Women's Classic today (Friday, Dec. 16) and Saturday, Dec. 17, in Charles Koch Arena. Wichita State will host Abilene Christian at 7:05 p.m. Friday and Incarnate Word at 2 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, Dec. 17). Tickets are free for students with a WSU ID.
* Have you been renting a locker at the Heskett Center? It's time to clear-out or renew by Wednesday, Dec. 21. If you wish to retrieve your items after clear-out, there is a facility fee of $10 to claim your items.
* The University Bookstore is having a Stuff the Bag event from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17. Take 20 percent off any WSU imprinted item that you can fit into our bags -- one bag per paying customer.

* Student Health Services will close soon for winter break. Prescription refill requests must be submitted by 5 p.m. today (Friday, Dec. 16) and picked up by 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19.
