Starting this spring 2017, second semester freshmen will have access to Guide -- a free app that helps steer students toward academic success. The first group of students will pilot the app, and starting next fall all freshmen will be included.

The app gives students reminders for upcoming events and important deadlines, helping them keep on top of their schedule and on track toward graduation.

Guide is used on about 20 U.S. campuses and will be fully implemented for all freshmen at Wichita State by fall 2017.

Students can also use the app to explore majors and career opportunities that match their interests, get tips on how to be successful in college and connect to campus resources.
