Recently the State of Kansas Division of Purchases went out for bid for confidential document shredding services. This contract was formulated with increased security requirements. The effective date for the new contract is listed as April 2, and agencies may begin setting up accounts immediately. The current contract, 08328 with Boyer Kansas dba Shred-It, ends May 29. The new company is Cintas. This will allow adequate time for agencies to transition to the new vendors. The new contract number is 11846.
