* The Office of Human Resources (OHR) has been notified of fraudulent activity on the Optum Bank Health Savings Accounts of three WSU employees. OHR is also aware of reported issues wherein Health Savings contributions have not been deposited into the Optum Bank Accounts. We strongly encourage employees with an Optum Bank Account to check their account balances immediately. If discrepancies are found with the transactions listed, please contact Optum Bank at 877-470-1771. If unable to get discrepancy resolved with Optum Bank, contact KDHE.SEHPData@ks.gov.

* The Office of Research will hold monthly workshops to address Institutional Review Board (IRB) forms and questions about proposed or current studies. Labs will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. on the following Mondays -- today (Jan. 9), Feb. 13, March 13, April 10, and May 8, in 405 Jardine Hall. * Per the requirements of K.S.A. 75-3203a, the State of Kansas, Department of Administration, has reduced the rates for mileage reimbursement for the remainder of FY 2017, effective Jan. 1, 2017, to 53.5 cents per mile for a privately owned automobile. * Classrooms across campus are equipped with consistent, standard technology and A/V equipment. The technology is locked with a consistent key that will work in all classrooms (except Devlin Hall). Faculty and staff can get a key by attending a short training session. Faculty are encouraged to make sure their assigned rooms have the technology they need.
