* The 2016 W-2 forms are now available for viewing and printing through the State of Kansas Employee Self Service. If you have consented to receive your W-2 electronically, you may access your W-2 by going to the State of Kansas Employee Self Service Center at http://www.da.ks.gov/ps/subject/ssc/, clicking on "Click here to sign in," and logging in. * Faculty interested in pursuing a badge should download and complete a Badge Planning Form, which can be found online at http://wichita.edu/facultybadgeinfo. Submit the form to the Office for Workforce, Professional and Community Education (WPCE) by Wednesday, March 1, to have your badge considered for fall 2017. * WSU is working with AACRAO Consulting on a strategic enrollment management (SEM) plan over the course of this year. The topic of the next SEM Workshop is Helping Students Succeed. Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, in the East Beggs Ballroom, RSC. A light lunch will be provided. * The Office of Research's Award for Research / Creative Projects provides salary / fringes of $3,000 for two months, plus $1,000 for other operating expenses to enable faculty to pursue research or creative projects during the summer. * The first deduction for the new 2017 Voluntary Colonial Life Supplemental Insurance will be processed as a monthly amount on your 1/27/2017 paycheck, for January coverage. In future months, the regular bi-monthly premium will be deducted from each check on the first two paychecks of the month.

* Join us tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 13) to kick off the opening of our F45 studio. Stop by the Heskett Center at 11:30 a.m. for the ribbon cutting and join our noon or 5:15 p.m. class. Drinks, snacks, giveaways, raffle and a photo booth will be available as well.

* Effective Tuesday, Jan. 17, parking lot 16S southwest of Duerksen Fine Arts Center will be designated as yellow parking only. Once the parking garage construction south of Rhatigan Student Center is completed, the lot will revert back to yellow / green.
