New Spanish course for bilingual students

Did you grow up speaking Spanish at home or in your community in the United States? We have a Spanish class just for you. The Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures is offering its first Spanish course for heritage speakers in the spring 2017 semester. The course will offer bilingual students an opportunity to recover and / or develop their language abilities while exploring topics related to their cultural backgrounds. The Span 221 (CRN: 26223) will meet from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in 104 Lindquist Hall.

The prerequisite is either a score of above 427 on the departmental placement exam or permission from the instructor. The placement exam can be taken for free at any time, from any computer that has Internet access. To access the placement exam, log on to http://mywsu.wichita.edu/, select the "Home" tab and find the link under "Student Tools."
