Eight Wichita State faculty members will be honored during the 2009 University Faculty Awards ceremony Tuesday, May 12. The faculty awards will be presented as part of the spring general faculty meeting at 3 p.m. in the RSC ballroom. A 2:30 p.m. reception with light refreshments will precede the ceremony. The honorees were chosen for setting the gold standard for teaching, research and creative activities at WSU. Jill Docking with the Kansas Board of Regents will make comments and present the awards.
