e2e Accelerator and Wichita State partner to launch program for early-stage companies
"The formation of LaunchPrep is a collaboration among the community to further develop our entrepreneurial ecosystem," said Mark Torline, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship. "Our goal is to enable success among early-stage entrepreneurs and provide guidance for them to execute their ideas."
During the three-month program, entrepreneurs and LaunchPrep mentors examine all aspects of the venture, allowing them to challenge their strategies and inspiring them to create implementation plans to reach critical milestones. The goal is attainability of market validation, funding and accelerated growth. Program participants will also have access to WSU resources and the e2e accelerator, a business accelerator focused on activating, accelerating and mentoring entrepreneurs.
"LaunchPrep is the perfect marriage of e2e and the Center for Entrepreneurship's unique contributions to the Wichita entrepreneurial ecosystem," said John Dascher, president and CEO of the e2e Accelerator. "By providing an accelerator tailored for early-stage ventures, LaunchPrep will contribute directly to increasing the capital flow and capital velocity of the Wichita economy. More scalable companies translates to more wealth creation."
