Reminders, deadlines and events

* In recognition of Human Trafficking Awareness Month, the WSU Center for Combating Human Trafficking presents the Human Trafficking Awareness Month Scavenger Hunt. We will host a scavenger hunt from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 25) in the RSC, to provide students a fun opportunity to learn more about human trafficking, how it affects them and how they can combat it.

* The Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) invites students, faculty and community members to make ODI their home away from home. Stop by during an open house from 1-2:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 25) in 208 RSC, to learn more about available resources and programs.

* The Care Team is offering training sessions to provide students with tools they can use to help prevent individuals from harming themselves or others and assist persons in need. A Care Team presentation for students will be held from 2-3 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 26) in 256 RSC. * Have a break in your day? Join the Student Involvement Ambassadors for some Wii Sports in the Student Involvement Office from 1-3 p.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 25) in 216 RSC.

* WSU Housing will offer a new Living Learning community (LLC) in Fairmount Towers beginning fall 2017 that will have a global focus. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about other cultures and share about U.S. culture, especially if you have studied abroad or would like to study abroad in the future. Select Global LLC when you complete your housing application for fall 2017.

* Community Service Board (CSB) works to address issues of public concern through service and active citizenship in the community. Join CSB in its first meeting from 3:30-5 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 26) in 142 RSC. CSB meets every Thursday in the same room or you can join their virtual community. * Student Government Association is currently accepting applications for Election Commission. Applications for Election Commission are due by 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27.
