The President's Special Budget Advisory Committee held its first meeting last Friday to continue discussions regarding potential state funding reductions, as well as aligning budget priorities with the institutional strategic plan. Presentations and informational materials presented to the committee are now, and will continue to be posted on the committee's website at http://www.wichita.edu/budgetcommittee. The committee will meet every week over the next few months, and committee members will also be engaging university colleagues outside of the committee meetings regarding the budget and strategic plan in the coming weeks.
