* Biomedical Engineering and the Graduate School are sponsoring a research seminar, "Aberrant RNA Processing Mechanisms in Cancer" at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, in 127 Jabara Hall. The guest speaker will be Jeremy Sanford, associate professor in the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of California Santa Cruz.

* A discussion on the development of an Interdisciplinary Research Team (IRT) cluster hire proposal around the topic of big data and analytics will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, in 261 RSC. Please RSVP to carol.mccall@wichita.edu.

* The 2017 forms have been added to the Student, Grad and Lecturer hiring packets. Please make sure to use these updated packets. They contain a new I-9 form. Torie Wynn from Instructional Design and Technology will explain new ways students can successfully use social media platforms and build an online presence.
