* The African Caribbean Student Association will host its first meeting this spring from 7-8 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, Jan. 31) in 266 RSC. The meeting is open to all African and Caribbean Shockers. * Game of Life will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, Jan. 31) in 142 RSC. Students will be able to learn about what it costs to live in the real world through our game that mimics the board game, Game of Life. Students who participate will leave with a T-shirt and have the chance to enter to win one of our great prizes.
* ASC, BSU and HALO invite you to their Winter Formal from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, in the third floor Shirley Beggs Ballroom, RSC. Tickets will be sold for $8. * The Media Resources Center is looking for student media technicians to join the team. Student media technicians assist with troubleshooting classroom AV technology, setting up live events, handling AV equipment checkouts and more. * The Phenomenal Women Awards recognize women for their accomplishments and contributions to the Wichita State community and society. Please nominate females who have made a difference in your life at WSU by Friday, Feb. 10. * Calling all runway models: come strut your stuff at Black Student Union's Annual Fashion Show. Model calls will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, in 141 Heskett Center. If interested, contact Khristian Jones, BSU president, at kxjones2@shockers.wichita.edu.
* A continuing research study on language is looking for participants. You can take part in this study if:
a) you speak English, but no other languages.
b) you do not play a musical instrument or sing and have no musical training.
c) you are an undergraduate student.
