He will present "Past Experiences and Future Trends for Composite Aircraft Structures."
* Wellness Services announced that an online monthly magazine, Student Health 101, will be offered to students, faculty and staff for free. The first issue will be available today (Wednesday, Feb. 1). Departments and units can advertise events or highlight current achievements in any of our 10 issues a year. * A Social Justice Institute: Find Your Voice will be held at noon Friday, Feb. 3, second floor, RSC. The Social Justice Institute will provide an opportunity for students to find their voices. * The Phenomenal Women Awards recognize women for their accomplishments and contributions to the Wichita State community and society. * The WSU School of Music will host a faculty recital by Betul Soykan, professor of violin. The event, "From War to Peace," will begin at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 2) in Wiedemann Hall, featuring Soykan and guest pianist Juan Andrade performing Holocaust inspired sonatas by Ferguson, Messiaen and Prokofiev. Admission is free.
* Kevin Hines, award-winning global speaker, bestselling author, documentary filmmaker, survivor of suicide and suicide prevention and mental health advocate will give a talk at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, in 301 RSC.
