Jazz saxophone legend Benny Golson to lead master class

The WSU School of Music announces a special master class to be given by world-famous jazz composer and tenor saxophonist Benny Golson from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, in C104 Duerksen Fine Arts Center. Golson has played in the bands of world famous Benny Goodman, Dizzy Gillespie, Lionel Hampton, Earl Bostic and Art Blakey, and composed many jazz standards including "Killer Joe," "I Remember Clifford," "Along Came Betty," "Stablemates" and "Whisper Not." Come hear Golson talk about his stellar career. The class is free and open to the public.
