Reminders, deadlines and events

* Psych it Up! will be held from 4-7 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 3) in Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes. This social is hosted by WSU's psychology organizations and is open to anyone in the psychology department. Both students and faculty are invited to bowl, order food at the grill and get to know one another.

* Nominations are being sought for Wichita State's 2017 Senior Honor Men and Women awards. Up to five men and five women are chosen for this honor each year. To review the eligibility requirements and application process, go to http://www.wichita.edu/seniorhonor. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6.

* ASC, BSU and HALO invite you to their Winter Formal from 7-10 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, Feb. 4) in the third floor Shirley Beggs Ballroom, RSC. Tickets are $8. To purchase a ticket, contact any cabinet member from ASC, BSU or HALO. Feel free to ask for Carleigh at the RSC information desk for a ticket. * The women's basketball team will host Missouri State at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, in Charles Koch Arena. Admission is free for students with WSU ID.

* WSU students can pick up free men's basketball tickets today (Friday, Feb. 3) for the home game against Missouri State on Thursday, Feb. 9, in Charles Koch Arena. Current WSU students can claim a free ticket to each home game by presenting their valid Shocker Card (multiple student ID's will no longer be accepted) at the Shocker Ticket Office (in the southwest corner of Charles Koch Arena).

* Currently enrolled WSU students are invited to Dine / Dress / Interview from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday or Thursday, Feb. 22 or 23, at the Wichita Country Club. Business professional dress is required. This event is for currently enrolled WSU students only. The cost is $17 per student. You must register by Wednesday, Feb. 15, and pay to attend. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/DDI to register.

* Come join the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) student chapter at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, in 102 Engineering Building. Pizza and beverages will be provided along with information on how joining SME can benefit you as a student and jump-start your career. Special guest Adam Lynch, owner of Premier Processing Inc., will talk about career critical success factors. All majors are welcome.
