Vicki Johnson, director of research at Spirit Aerosystems in Wichita, will be the guest speaker at a Physics Seminar at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 8) in 128 Jabara Hall. The series is supported by the Eddy and April Lucas Fund. Johnson's talk is titled, "Spirit Aerosystems Research and Development: Improving Flight Today and Tomorrow." There will be refreshments and discussion afterward.
Maojun Gong will be the guest speaker at the Spring Chemistry Colloquium at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 8) in 224 McKinley Hall. The talk is titled "High-Throughput Analysis of Biological Samples Using Flow-Gated Capillary Electrophoresis.
